South & Central America World Championship Qualifier Announced

As of this year, the World Championship will have a new qualifier and that is in South & Central America.
1 player will get the opportunity to represent the region in a qualifier held in Brazil next month where of course the winner gets to join the line up at the Alexandra Palace in December- January for the 2018 World Championship.
This has come mainly due to the success of the Brazil team in the World Cup of Darts with Diogo Portela who has made major strides this year as well as his partner Alexandre Sattin with the team getting to the second round in the yearly tournament in Frankfurt.
With the lineup unconfirmed, we are more than likely going to see Diogo who comes off the back of two wins at the weekend in tournaments over in the UK as well as Alexandre involved in trying to qualify for the tournament.
Other players who have played in the World Championships previously include Guyana's Norman Madhoo and Sudesh Fitzgerald as well as Barbados' Anthony Forde and Winston Cadogan.
