Smith will face David Pallett who doesn't have his tour card after not winning it back at Q-School but is a familiar name to those involved in Darts. This great run has assured the Shropshire man that he will be at the
UK Open and now he will want to win his first ranking title on top of that.
In the other semi-final John Henderson will take on Zoran Lerchbacher. Henderson showed his good form as of late in defeating one of the performers of the weekend in Jamie Hughes 6-3 and will take on the Austrian, Zoran Lerchbacher who reached his first
Pro Tour final last year.
Last Eight
Michael Smith 6 | 1 Michael van Gerwen
Joe Cullen 4 | 6 David Pallett
Jamie Hughes 3 | 6 John Henderson
James Wilson 1 | 6 Zoran Lerchbacher
