UK Q-School - Day 3: Arron Monk, Lee Evans and Ross Smith among players to reach the Last 8

The penultimate day of UK Q-School is coming with some names coming to the foray in the fight for one of two cards on Day 3, those include Lee Evans, Arron Monk and Ross Smith.

Evans, a former multiple time UK Open participant and a staple of the Challenge Tour came through against the experienced David Pallett who has been looking to regain his card at the first time of asking by 5 legs to 2.
Monk, the former World Youth Champion is also through coming through a tight 5-4 win over Matthew Edgar with 'Prime Time' not to defeat the returning son of former dart player Colin Monk.
Darren Beveridge is through again today after defeating Steven Marfleet going one better than yesterday with the Scotsman seemingly returning to darts after a spell out.
Ross Smith is also through with the man from Deal who didn't compete in a lot of tour events last year despite having a card coming through against Ryan Meikle, the barber from Ipswich.
Also notably George Killington beat Dawson Murschell 5-1 with the Canadian making up for a poor result yesterday losing in the first round.
