Updated PDC Order of Merit: Wade back up to sixth after European Championship win

The European Championship being completed means movements in the PDC Order of Merit. James Wade is one of those players on the move as he returns to within touching distance of the world’s top five.
’The Machine’ is back up to 6th just behind Daryl Gurney in fifth place.
This means potentially if his form continues he may get into the Premier League automatically anyway.
Steve West is up to a career high position of 23rd; this is after a good run which saw him defeat Michael van Gerwen most notably.
Max Hopp’s brilliant year continues; he’s now on the cusp of a top 32 debut which could mean a seeding at the World Championship.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
