Michael van Gerwen took part in a game that was the best quality in the history of the World Grand Prix with Dave Chisnall last night with MVG coming out the victor.
Van Gerwen spoke afterwards and admitted it was an incredible game with him also praising his opponent. He has his sights set firmly on the prize though and despite admitting there is still a long way to go he wants to win the title.
"We should have games like this all the time, it was incredible," said Van Gerwen. "Dave played a phenomenal game, I think it was the best game ever seen in Dublin.
"I need to keep my concentration for tomorrow, there's still a long way to go - I want to win this title, it's as simple as that."
