Michael van Gerwen came through a close shave yesterday in a last leg decider with Steve Lennon on Day 2 of the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich.

He hit a 95 average something which you wouldn’t expect ‘Mighty Mike’ to hit again today. Van Gerwen spoke afterwards admitting he can’t remember playing as bad as he did ever.
The former 2x World Champion will face the returning to form, Alan Norris in the Last 16 today on the final day in Munich.
"I can't remember playing this bad in my life, it's incredible. I let myself down and all the fans watching here. For some reason I couldn't concentrate and didn't feel right." said the World Number One.
