Michael van Gerwen will not be in Austria this weekend. The number one in the world has opted out of the Austrian Darts Open.
It is not known why Van Gerwen decided not to travel to the 4th European Tour of the season. With the cancellation of 'Mighty Mike', Jelle Klaasen, Benito van de Pas and Ron Meulenkamp are the only Dutch participants at the Austrian Darts Open
