The Russian star won in straight sets for the third time this week to make the
Lakeside final. Dobromyslova was pushed hard in the first set, but she held her nerve. She followed it with an excellent second set, culminating in a 15-darter. Having won all of her previous world finals, she will be tough to beat.
The Ellesmere Port-based ace said that she felt "awesome" after sealing a final berth. Sixth seed Dobromyslova admitted she could have played better in her semi-final. Anastasia played down the achievement of having set the three highest averages of the tournament in her three matches. This interview was held before Lisa Ashton threw a better average, than Anastasia did in the first round. Dobromyslova added that she cannot wait for the final. She will try to prevent Ashton from winning consecutive world titles.
See the below
video for Anastasia's reaction to the win, and her thoughts ahead of what should be a brilliant final.
