Wes Newton is now no longer a part of the PDC tour but at one point was one of the best players in the world before going on a downward spiral. One of his best moments was a brilliant nine darter at the World Matchplay.
Ahead of the World Matchplay starting shortly, we look back on that nine darter which Newton hit against Justin Pipe at the Winter Gardens.
It was in the Last 16 and Pipe brought it back from 4-2 down to 5-5. ‘The Warrior’ though smashed in a nine darter to show he was still involved in the match.
