Michael Smith and James Wade are competing for the Players Championship 9 title in Barnsley on Saturday evening.
Wade needed thirteen legs to saw off Scott Baker, who beat the likes of Jonny Clayton and Max Hopp to reach the semi-finals. Baker came back from a 5-2 deficit to level the match in the tenth leg. However 'The Machine' claimed the win after hitting a 16-darter in the leg-decider.
Smith defeated Steve West after an outstanding match, with both players averaging over 105. 'Bullyboy' threw a 12-dart leg in the 12th leg to book his place in the final of the Pro Tour event.
