Simon Whitlock and
Daryl Gurney reached the final of the
World Grand Prix in Dublin. The pair will face each other on Saturday evening in the last game of the tournament.
'The Wizard' defeated Austrian's Mensur Suljovic after a thriller. Whitlock took a 3-1 lead, but 'The Gentle' fought himself back to 3-3. Suljovic broke Whitlock's throw in the first leg of the seventh set, but de Aussie managed to take three legs on the spin to reach his first major ranking final in four years.
Gurney edged out John Henderson, who defeated Michael van Gerwen, Alan Norris and Raymond van Barneveld earlier this week. Superchin won by a 4-1 scoreline.
