Whitlock insists he is going to give it his all: 'I don't want to finish eighth'

Simon Whitlock won't be appearing at the play-offs but in his final few weeks of the Premier League he insists he is going to be giving it his all continuing against Peter Wright who also can't reach the O2.

'The Wizard' defeated Gary Anderson last week in one of the performances so far of the Premier League. Whitlock admits he loves the Premier League and doesn't want to finish eighth. “I don't want to finish eighth, but I'll just play each game as it comes now and hopefully play the darts I know I can. “I know I'm not going to make the Play-Offs, but I'm going to try my heart out every single week. I love playing darts and I love the Premier League,” said Whitlock, who shocked Anderson with a 7-5 win in Manchester last week.
