We have our first two winners in the afternoon session at the European Championship with James Wilson and Darren Webster getting through their first round ties.

Wilson first of all looked brilliant in his win averaging 103 and hitting six 180’s en route to a win over a difficult opponent in Jonny Clayton. Clayton staged a mini comeback when 5-0 down but didn’t do enough to get back on level terms with the Huddersfield ace.
Webster had more of a battle but still hit six out of eleven on his doubles on his way to a last leg decider win over Stephen Bunting. He also hit two 180’s and a high checkout of 121 with a 14 darter in the aforementioned decider enough to see off The Bullet.
