Adams begins Phase Two of MODUS Online Live League with clean sweep

Martin Adams has began the opening week of action in the second phase of MODUS Online Live League by claiming a clean sweep.

Adams won all five matches today against Kevin Burness (4-3), Arron Monk (4-2), James Richardson (4-3), Richie Burnett (4-3) and Robert Thornton (4-2).

He finished ahead of Burness (six points), Thornton, Monk and Burnett (four points) albeit separated by leg difference with Richardson bottom of the pile with two points.

Each player plays once a day against these players until Wednesday and the winner of this group involving the aforementioned players will move through to the final group on Saturday.

The numbers two and three will play a new group with three new players on Thursday and Friday evening. While the fourth, five and sixth ranked players will return with new players on Thursday and Friday afternoon.

From these, the two best players in each group move through as per the previous format.

The top three from the first four Saturday nights make up the 12 for this Champions Week.

Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
