Kevin Burness made the best start on Monday in the final week of the fourth season in the Online Darts Live League. 'Iron Man' started the week by winning four of his five matches.
Burness only went down in his final match against Richie Burnett (4-0). Before that, the Northern Irishman had beaten Martin Adams (4-0), Gary Stone (4-2), Robert Owen (4-0) and Jarred Cole (4-2).
Each player will play three times against the other players in the group until Wednesday. The winner of this group goes directly to the final group on Saturday.
The numbers two, three and four of the league table play a new group against two new players on Thursday night and Friday night. These are Chas Barstow and Nick Fullwell.
The numbers five and six of the standings on Wednesday, also play a new group against new participants. In this group Rob Collins, Connor Scutt, Johnny Haines and Chris Gilliand are the new entrants. They will play on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. From the evening group, three players will go to the final and from the morning group, two players will go to the final, making the final group consisting of six players.
Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the games are not played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton. The matches can be followed via the YouTube channel of Online Darts.
