Smith scooped up the £20,000 jackpot for sealing Champions Week defeating Matt Clark breaking 'Superman's throw in the decider to claim it in superb fashion.
From the initial group one and two, it was Adam Mould and Matt Clark who moved through to the semi-finals, while Scott Walters and Smith sealed their spots from Group Two.
In the semi-finals though, Smith sailed past Mould and Clark set up the tie with Smith with a 4-3 win.
Clark gained control going 3-2 up but it went all the way and a superb 96 checkout sealed it for 'The Guru'.
