Updated Players Championship Order of Merit after PDC Autumn Series

The PDC Autumn Series took place last week with the return of Players Championship action and while the race to the World Grand Prix is the short term goal, the Players Championship Finals are also on the horizon.

Peter Wright currently tops the rolling Order of Merit with £62,250 after three event wins this year with one a piece in the Summer and Autumn Series.

Michael van Gerwen claimed his second of the year and so sits at £58,250 after similarly showing good form barring some early exits on the Players Championship series.

Gerwyn Price sits on three event wins on this year and is just behind on £57,250 after a brilliant year so far. Nathan Aspinall (£41,500) and James Wade (£37,750) round out the top five.

Further down though, players who could find themselves not involved at Minehead include the likes of Justin Pipe, Jelle Klaasen and Max Hopp all of whom are outside the top 64 who will qualify.

The likes of Martijn Kleermaker , Derk Telnekes, Damon Heta and Boris Krcmar are all set for debuts in their first year on the tour after showing some excellent form so far.

Heta in particular is now up to 22nd in the Order of Merit and looks certain to qualify after winning his first event during the Autumn Series.
