The teams have been announced for the Six Nations Cup which is set to take place in Bonte Wever in Assen this upcoming weekend.

Netherlands team was announced previously including the likes of Willem Mandigers and Aileen de Graaf.

Northern Ireland were also announced with Kyle McKinstry the captain.

Wales’ side have also been revealed with current BDO World Number Two, Jim Williams the standout. Also included in the team is former Lakeside participants Nick Kenny and Mark Layton.

England’s team as usual looks strong with Scott Mitchell in the men’s teaming with some experienced players including Martin Atkins (Wigan), Nigel Heydon and Daniel Day.

Ladies is equally as strong with three of the best in the rankings involved in Lorraine Winstanley, Fallon Sherrock and Maria O’Brien.

As a result both sides could be a formidable force in the event.

Also Republic of Ireland and Scotland’s sides have been announced. For Ireland, experienced names such as Niall Culleton and Keith Geraghty provide a good chance for the side.

The Scottish team have the in form Alan Soutar fresh off a win at the Helvetia Open recently as well as Ross Montgomery.
