The UK Open Order of Merit has been updated after the first three event with the two winners over the course of the weekend sitting at the top of the rankings. Michael van Gerwen is first with Michael Smith second.
Through their runs to the finals this weekend, Zoran Lerchbacher and Darren Webster have not only secured their progression to Minehead but potentially a good seeding to boot.
Dave Prins and Jamie Hughes despite not having tour cards are in the top ten after great weekends especially for Prins who made two Last 32’s and a Last 16 over the three events.
At the moment Tytus Kanik holds the last spot in the Order of Merit but is tied with a load of players so next weekend is going to be crucial especially with the likes of Dimitri van den Bergh, Rob Cross etc all sitting outside the top 96 players that will make it to Minehead.
Michael Smith's 8th PDC title solidifies him in 2nd on the UK Open Order of Merit. If today was the final day of qualifying, we'd have to have a 17-way play-off for the final 12 spots in the field. pic.twitter.com/N988xmEJth
