James Wade is continuing to return to form after a year or so to forget for ‘The Machine’. He reached the semi-final in Leverkusen losing out to the eventual runner-up Peter Wright after a great tournament for the Aldershot native.
As a result of that run, he has jumped Premier League player Michael Smith who lost out to Wade over the weekend. He has qualified for the next 3 Euro Tours so will have a chance to potentially cement his good form as he returns to the world’s elite.
John Henderson and Justin Pipe also move further into the world’s top 32. Henderson has gone from 27th to 25th and it could be a possibility that if the ‘Highlander’ continues his good form that he could make a charge at the world’s top 16.
Pipe despite losing out to Quarter-Finalist, Ron Meulenkamp is up to 29th, it isn’t the heights of previously but it will help towards spots in majors for ‘The Force’.
Finally, Richard North who reached his first Euro Tour semi-final over the weekend is up to 47th as ‘The Lionheart’s rise continues into his second year as a tour card holder.
