David Pallett was supposed to start Sunday night at Lakeside, but his match against Thomas Junghans has been moved to the end of the evening for a special reason.
The WDF, organizer of the tournament in Frimley, reports that his wife is about to give birth. Pallett was permitted to leave the playing venue to attend the birth of his child.

As a result, the schedule will start with Suzanne Smith v Victoria Monaghan. Followed by Benjamin Pratnemer v Davie Kirwan, Leonard Gates v Brian Corbett, Nicole Regnaud v Anna Forsmark, Antony Allen v Dennie Olde Kalter before Pallett finally takes to the oche.
