Edgar wins his first WDF title in Iceland

Edwin Torbjörnsson and Matthew Edgar won the two WDF tournaments in Iceland last weekend. For Edgar, it was his first ever WDF title.

On Saturday, the Iceland Open was on the programme. Torbjörnsson won this tournament by beating Mark Barilli 5-3 in the final. The Swede was also the best at the Faroe Islands Darts Open earlier this year.

Edgar then took the title on Sunday at the Iceland Masters. The YouTube star who has suffered with a shoulder injury and lost his PDC Tour Card in early 2022, was too strong for Björn Lejon in the final 5-3.
