German success in WDF tournaments in Slovakia

The best German darters of the moment play at the PDC, but last weekend there was finally also success on the WDF Tour for German darters.

Liam Maendl-Lawrance won the Slovak Open in Samorín. In the final the German was 5-4 too strong for Andy Baetens. The women's tournament was also won by someone with a German passport. Irina Armstrong defeated Jitka Cisarova 5-1 in the women's final.

In the Slovak Masters a German also made it to the final match, but Ole Holtkamp had to leave the final victory to Benjamin Pratnemer (5-4). Hereby the women's tournament was won by Maud Jansson, who dealt with Sophie McKinlay (5-4).
