Plaisier and Turner seal titles at WDF Belgium Open

Wesley Plaisier has won a WDF tournament for the first time in his career on Sunday. In Antwerp, he emerged victorious at the Belgium Open.

In the final, Plaisier was 5-0 too strong for his fellow countryman Johan van Velzen, after he had earlier beaten the likes of Jamie Lewis (4-3) and Martyn Turner (4-2).

In the women’s, the victory went to Laura Turner, who lost the final of the Antwerp Open on Saturday.

Turner defeated Lorraine Winstanley in the final 5-3 and claimed her seventh WDF title.
