The WDF Denmark Open and
Denmark Masters will be played on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, in Esbjerg, Denmark. These tournaments have respectively a gold and silver status with the WDF, which means there are relatively many points and
prize money to be earned.
Men's participants include Wesley Plaisier, Brian Raman, Thomas Junghans, Christian Kist, Andy Boulton, James Richardson, Neil Duff, Scott Mitchell, Liam-Maendl Lawrance, Per Laursen and Dennis Nilsson. Among others, Beau Greaves, Kirsty Hutchinson, Laura Turner, Deta Hedman, Noa-Lynn van Leuven, Lerena Rietbergen, Aileen de Graaf, Anca Zijlstra and Rhian O'Sullivan registered with the ladies.
The Denmark Open will take place on Saturday, May 4. The winner of the men's tournament will receive 24,000 Danish Kroner, equivalent to 3220 euros. The ladies' winner will receive 12,000 Danish Kroner (1610 euros).
A day later, the Denmark Masters is on the program. In the men's event, a check for 12,000 Danish Crowns (1610 euros) is waiting for the winner. The winner of the women's tournament will receive 6,000 Danish Crowns, equivalent to 805 euros.
