Shaun McDonald seals WDF Lakeside World Championship debut after withdrawal

Shaun McDonald will make his debut in the WDF Lakeside World Championship in January after a withdrawal from one of the Russian qualifiers who was previously invited.
McDonald impressed at Q-School and also in the Online Darts Live League after returning to the sport following a long break and capped that off with victory in the WDF Irish Classic.
This wasn't enough to get him qualification by right but he will now prepare for his debut at Lakeside. This alongside the final qualifiers in Assen and Frimley Green which will confirm the field barring any late withdrawals.
