Dudbridge heads to World Seniors Darts Masters with support from new equipment sponsor

Target Darts has partnered with Mark Dudbridge, who is currently active on the World Seniors Darts Tour. 'Flash' joins a stable of mostly seasoned darters.

For example, big names such as Adrian Lewis, Dimitri van den Bergh, Gabriel Clemens, Nathan Aspinall, Paul Lim, Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, Rob Cross, Stephen Bunting, Tony O'Shea and two-time women's world champion Mikuru Suzuki are also under contract with Target.

Dudbridge has been active in darts for over 30 years, and as a professional dart player since the beginning of this century. After winning the Winmau World Masters in 2002, Dudbridge further made a name for himself on the PDC circuit at the beginning of this century by reaching the final of the 2004 World Matchplay and the 2005 World Darts Championship. Both finals, however, were lost against darts great Phil Taylor.

On the floor, Dudbridge did pick up prizes. He won four ranking tournaments and two Challenge Tours at the PDC. Since this year, the 50-year-old Englishman has been active on the senior circuit.

This weekend, Dudbridge is one of 16 competitors at the World Seniors Darts Masters. The former World Cup finalist will meet Leonard Gates in the first round of this tournament.
