Friday night sees multiple huge names starting their campaign at the
World Seniors Darts Championship with some tantalising tungsten tussles on offer at the Circus Tavern.
One which will take centre stage is a rematch of a great rivalry from over the years including when
Phil Taylor produced a whitewash win in 2002 and 2006 against
Peter Manley.
Will it be a similarly emphatic victory for 'The Power' as he continues with his favourite mantle into tonight's opening tie?
That will take place after
Martin Adams another of the favourites will face Richie Howson, the home town hero. Taking out Darryl Fitton last night, he had the Owl Army firmly on his side and will aim to tame the Wolf as 'Wolfie' takes to the oche as one of the most active players in the field.
Wayne Warren is the only reigning World Champion in the field and will face off against Kevin Painter in the first tie of the night who was taken all the way by Tony O'Shea.
He showed some brilliance at times though against 'Yank' who can either be incredible or inconsistent, which side will come out tonight?
Finally 10 time World Champion,
Trina Gulliver MBE takes to the oche to face the first winner of yesterday in Robert Thornton.
After well documented issues off the oche, Gulliver will look for a triumphant return to action and will aim to take out another favourite in 'The Thorn'.
Friday 4 February (7pm)
