The final second round action concludes on Saturday afternoon at the 2022 World Seniors Darts Championship as multiple World Champions make their first appearances on the Circus Tavern stage of this tournament.
John Part is a previous World Champion on the Purfleet stage and will fancy his chances against John Walton who showed some glimmers against Les Wallace but struggled to get over the line at times.
But as 'John Boy' stated in his interview, not a lot can be made of the form of the Canadian who has only used Q-School and the odd appearance on the CDC as his only notable darts alongside his Sky Sports commitments.
Lisa Ashton has played plenty of darts in recent years and 'The Lancashire Rose' is seen by many as a potential outside favourite for the title.
First up for the four time World Champion is Terry Jenkins who averaged 84 in seeing off Roland Scholten 3-0 yesterday and will look to upset any hopes for Ashton on her first time on the Circus Tavern stage.
Alongside Robert Thornton, Dave Prins was one of the most impressive players of the first round. While drawn into a battle of sorts in the end by Paul Lim, he looked ultra impressive.
Next up will be John Lowe the three time World Champion who at the age of 76 will be involved and with no real recent stage experience, 'The Badger' will be favourite to ease past 'Old Stoneface'.
Before Larry Butler who impressed also yesterday in easing past an out of sorts Alan Warriner-Little faces another player who hasn't been on the stage for some time in Keith Deller.
'Mr 138' has been putting the practice in and has been playing Super League and County again in a bid to get himself ready and will look to see the practice pay off but 'The Bald Eagle' will look to bring down any hopes of that and move into the Quarter-Finals.
