"You might see me somewhere else, but I can't say where at the moment" - Martin Adams cryptic over future plans

Martin Adams has qualified for the semifinals of the Champion of Champions. 'Wolfie' defeated Phil Taylor 10-9 in the quarter-finals.

For a long time, however, things did not look good for Adams, who entered the final break trailing 9-6. "It felt great getting over the line eventually," Adams said in his post-match interview. "I just play the darts as they as they're put before me you know. Leg by leg, game by game."

Both Adams and Taylor were loudly supported by the ever-knowledgeable Blackpool crowd. "I love playing darts and I love the crowds," Adams says warmly. "I've had loads of people asking me 'can I have photograph?' I will go back out there and we'll do all that. That's what it's all about."

Adams will soon turn 68, but is not thinking about joining Taylor and announcing his imminent retirement anytime soon. "I'll be playing on the Modus Super Series. I'll be doing some of the Seniors Tour events that that go on. You might even see me somewhere else, but I can't say where at the moment," he says cryptically. Although he does know where he won't be playing. "It won't be in the WDF no."
