The 2020 Premier League Calendar has been revealed with Aberdeen set to open up proceedings at a new venue at the P&J Live Arena.

John Henderson as a contender last year showed the value of the venue; it will now start the calendar replacing Newcastle which moves to March 19.

The tournament moves to Nottingham, Cardiff and Dublin to finish off February; before Exeter has it’s yearly trip before the UK Open.

Liverpool and Newcastle will be followed by the double header at Rotterdam Ahoy on March 25-26; with the Judgement Night taking place on the second night.

The final seven league nights take in the likes of Belfast, Sheffield and Manchester; as well as Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds to finish it all off.

Of course the O2 Arena will take in the play-offs on Thursday May 21 with the semi-finals and final set to take place.

Barry Hearn spoke about the calendar release and said that it is an exciting moment. He also spoke about the new P&J Live in Aberdeen and said it is a fantastic way to begin it all.

“The 2019 Unibet Premier League proved hugely successful and the confirmation of the schedule for 2020 is an exciting moment for us,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

“To make our debut at the new P&J Live in Aberdeen will be a fantastic way to start the season, and once again we’ll be visiting Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany throughout four months of top-class action.”
