Gary Anderson is through to the semi-finals at The Masters after defeating Gerwyn Price in a sensational display.

Anderson defeated his rival 10-2 in a match which beforehand was touted as another rematch of their infamous Grand Slam meeting from 2018.

‘The Flying Scotsman’ made sure it wasn’t a contest though hitting a 102.4 average, five 180s and 10/16 on the doubles in a vintage performance.

Anderson had a great start to proceedings doubling his lead early on against Price with an 80 checkout. Price though broke back with a 130 checkout only to miss darts in the requisite leg to hold.

This allowed Anderson a 3-1 lead in the early going. Price held firm though as another leg went against the darts and this allowed Price to trail 3-2.

When they returned Anderson took out 104 for a 12 darter to reestablish his authority. Further missed darts blighted Price and Anderson went four legs in a row going 7-2 up and streaking towards the finishing line.

He confounded this with an 11-darter to go two away from victory at the interval all while averaging 102, could Price stop the barrage from Anderson?

Anderson went one away from victory though as he continued his brilliance and he concluded the win from there smashing through Price.
