Lisa Ashton is the first player through to the final of the Ladies BDO World Championship and is on the verge of a fifth title after defeating Corrine Hammond with ease.
Ashton did not a drop a leg en route to claiming victory over the Australian ace and increased her average once again to 84.28.
This included 1 180 and the big difference which was 33 percent on the doubles. Hammond had 7 darts at doubles but did not convert them allowing Ashton to move through with relative ease; despite 'Rinnie' increasing her average herself towards 80.
For Hammond, this will be a massive step forward after not winning a match in the event since her final defeat in 2017 and after having to come through the qualifier for the event will hope to kick on now for 2020.
Ashton's next task will either be Mikuru Suzuki or Beau Greaves as she will take on the reigning champion or the teenage sensation who many are predicting could be the victor at the end of the week, they will both have to get through 'The Lancashire Rose' though who looks in good form.
