Montgomery and De Graaf claim 2020 Dutch Open singles titles

The two winners in the Men's and Ladies singles have been confirmed at the 2020 Dutch Open Darts in Assen.

In the Men's, it is double glory for Ross 'The Boss' Montgomery who not only has won his second Dutch Open title, he has won his second title of the day.

Montgomery started by edging through in a 4-3 win over Levy Frauenfelder in the last 64. After that, Stefan Martena (4-1), Aleksey Kadochnikov (4-0) and John Desreumaux (5-3) were next to fall to 'The Boss'.

In the semi-final, Montgomery defeated BDO world champion Wayne Warren claiming a 2-1 sets win. He then defeated Brian Raman 3-1 in sets to claim the title. He also took glory earlier today in the pairs alongside Martin Adams.

In the Ladies, it was Aileen de Graaf who claimed the honours. It is the third time that De Graaf has won the title and she defeated compatriot Anca Ziljstra to do so in a 5-2 victory.
