The Dutch Open is the next event set to take place on the WDF Calendar this upcoming weekend with the tournament well known as the largest open darts tournament in the world will be played this year from January 31 to February 2 in Assen.
It carries considerable WDF points with the winner getting 270 points for winning through the massive field and it is 167 points for the runner-up. It goes all the way down to the Last 64 with the losers getting 13 points.
In terms of the prize fund, it is 5000 euros for the winner in the men's. It is 2500 euros for the runner-up with it going all the way to Last 128 with the loser getting 25 euros.
For the ladies, the winner receives 2500 euros and the losing finalist 1200 euros. The distribution of WDF points among women is the same as the men. However, ladies can only earn prize money from the last sixteen.
