As The Masters approaches this weekend, we take a look at a previous final involving Michael van Gerwen and Dave Chisnall back in 2016.
Van Gerwen claimed an 11-6 victory against Chisnall who he has a brilliant record over and he went into a 5-0 lead in double quick time against the St Helens ace.
Despite that, Chisnall came back to force Van Gerwen to play his best darts again and he duly obliged to dispel the late comeback and it continued a run which has seen MVG win every Masters title since.
