Qualifier and Ticketing information released for 2019 BDO World Trophy

Further information has been released for this year's BDO World Trophy which is set to take place at the end of next month at King George's Hall in Blackburn.
The tournament was announced on Monday with the venue set to host the tournament for at least the next three years and of course it will be shown on Eurosport as per their deal to show all majors.
Now the qualifier and ticketing information has been revealed. The qualifier will take place on Thursday 29 August prior to the main tournament which takes place from Friday 30 August. Doors will open at 8:30am with players toeing the oche at 10:30am.
There will be four men's places and two ladies' places up for grabs in the main draws. Click here to enter the qualifier which is open to all players over 18 and is £20.
In terms of tickets, they will go on sale next Monday (22 July) and will be available from the venue box office either online or over the phone. It will be £15 for single session tickets and £25.00 for both sessions.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
