The afternoon session is complete at the BDO World Masters as the TV darts begins in the Last 32 stage at the Circus Tavern.

It was an afternoon of shocks in some cases with two of the big name seeded players falling in Dave Parletti and Richard Veenstra.
Parletti lost to the experienced Neil Duff in a 3-2 defeat with the match going all the way to a final leg in which the Northern Irishman held his nerve to secure his place in the Last 16.
Veenstra similarly was taken all the way by Craig Owens; 'Flyers' had match darts but could not make them count and one of the main favourites for the tournament is now out.
Some well known faces came through despite that with Jeff Smith easing past Ryan Hogarth, with the former Lakeside finalist seemingly enjoying his return to major BDO action. Ciaran Teehan as well who has won a Challenge Tour title this year eased past Dave Copley 3-0.
Carl Hamilton produced the performance of the day so far in defeating Benjamin Pratnemer. Hamilton who impressed at times in the BDO World Trophy did so again on his return to the big stage against Pretnemer who himself will play at the PDC World Championship at the end of the year.
There were also victory for Gary Stone, Simon Stainton; both of whom have played brilliantly this year on the BDO tour as well as Graham Usher who defeated Stig Jarle Knudsen.
