Warren will face either Jim Williams or Mario Vandenbogaerde; as we are assured of a first time World Champion tomorrow after another brilliant display from the Welshman brought him a spot in the final.
It could have been very different though with Mitchell getting quick out of the blocks and going 2-0 ahead; only for Warren to stop the rot and halve the deficit as he began to grow into the contest.
In the next set, it was one that included Warren going six darts into a perfect leg; only for Mitchell to take out 121 on the bullseye to take the lead in the following set; but it was his turn to waste opportunities as Warren took the set to level the match.
The latter led for the first time as Mitchell began to falter but he wasn't done yet as he let out a roar of emotion when he tied it up again. Warren though soon reestablished a two set lead from there though as the missed doubles continued to be the issue for 'Scotty Dog', from there he went onto lose 6-3 in sets as the Welshman streaked away with it after a slow start.
