The Premier League was cancelled last Thursday due to adverse conditions but this has given the Dutch fans something to shout about with a big announcement by the PDC today.

Rotterdam will host a second Premier League date in a double header after judgement night.

This will mean the Dutch crowd who had already sold out the initial date will get two days of darting action.

It will be important as well in the run up to the Play-Offs for those still in contention. Barry Hearn spoke about the announcement and admits while its disappointing to cancel Exeter; it is great they can have another night in Rotterdam.

“It was hugely disappointing that last week’s planned Unibet Premier League in Exeter had to be cancelled,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

“We looked at various options, alongside our host broadcast partners Sky Sports, which would see the Unibet Premier League remain a 16-night season, and it’s great that we’ve been able to add a second night at Rotterdam Ahoy.

“Tickets in Rotterdam have been incredibly popular since we first took the Premier League to the Netherlands in 2016, and this is another great chance for Dutch fans to see the world’s best players live.”
