The Saturday evening session of the Czech Darts Open is jam-packed with quality.

Evidence of that is clear from the opening game of the session. Ted Evetts produced a masterclass to see off the dangerous Krzysztof Ratajski. There's no time to relax for Super Ted - literally - as he faces speed demon Ricky Evans. Evans has earned ninth seed status the hard way; another strong performance at the Czech Darts Open will edge him towards a European Championship return.
Chris Dobey meets Joe Cullen in the second all-English meeting, before Stephen Bunting comes up against World Cup-winning Scot Peter Wright.
Keegan Brown has taken a huge step towards the World Matchplay. Another win would help seal the deal. Unfortunately, he's landed himself a tie against Michael van Gerwen. Then again, the world number 31 beat MVG at the same stage of the German Darts Championship mere months ago.

Duzza marches on

Two giants of the game come up against each other, with Mensur Suljovic playing John Henderson. Then Gerwyn Price faces the worst possible draw a seed could have at this stage. In round one, Glen Durrant smashed in by far the best average, 110.12. He had the best checkout rate (level with Evetts and Andrew Gilding). Only Gilding struck more 180s. Nobody at all could top a majestic ten-darter in a thrashing of Daniel Larsson - who didn't even play badly. Duzza is looking sharp in his new Target threads.
Another Team Target member, Adrian Lewis, has some hot property to contend with. Jamie Hughes was much superior to Devon Petersen, average-wise, but was still made to work for his win. There's no reason either of these two can't go the distance at the Czech Darts Open.
The same could be said for the last two players to take to the Prague stage. Corey Cadby's up for it. The Aussie said as much after a simple hiding given out to Wessel Nijman. Michael Smith is up for the challenge. This will hopefully turn out to be a real barnstormer.
The first game of the Czech Darts Open Saturday evening session is due to start at 18:15 BST.
