The German Darts Championship is set to take place this weekend in Hildesheim as the return to European Tour action begins.
But for two players, their return to European Tour action won't take place this weekend with some withdrawals occurring pre-tournament.
Niels Zonneveld and Simon Stevenson who had both previously qualified at the start of the year have decided against traveling to Germany.
Zonneveld has a known reason which is due to playing Development Tour instead which takes place at Barnsley Metrodome this weekend.
The young Dutchman is currently fifth with the top two in the Order of Merit receiving a Tour Card and a World Championship invite so it is in his best interests to shift focus this weekend.
