Since our creation in August 2017, DartsNews has been
developed to provide free content for all our readers. However, we
want to provide our audience with more options to explore our website and the possibility of no advertising.
None of DartsNews' publications have had restricted
access since the very start. That has been one of the core traits of our
platform, which we intend to maintain, to be the best and
most dynamic source of news in the darting bubble.
We do not have a paywall. Naturally, to be able to
sustain the website and our team's work - as well as improve it every year - we rely on the revenue from advertising that you find when exploring DartsNews.
This is a regular feature on websites of our size.
One of the options that our team is exploring is the
possibility of allowing our audience to have a subscription that would remove the
advertising from the website, for a price of only 4 euros a month - just over
13 cents a day.
This would have no impact whatsoever on those who do not
wish to have the subscription. Rather, it would allow those who subscribe to
browse the website ad-free, which would also aid DartsNews' efforts to
bring you the best coverage of darts.
DartsNews will NOT be behind a paywall. The question is
whether you would be interested in paying €4 to not have ads on the website for your
own personal experience.
We would like to know your opinion on the matter, and we
provide a poll below in which you can answer whether or not you would want
to use this option.
