The final qualifiers have been confirmed for the 2020 BDO World Championship after the qualifier took place after the conclusion of the BDO World Masters.

In the Men’s, the main stand out was Nick Fullwell, a two time BDO ranking winner. He is a former PDC Tour Card holder who himself only just missed out on direct qualification, He secured his qualification by defeating another former Tour Card holder in Matt Padgett.

Ben Hazel also qualified. He has reached Quarter-Finals in both the Swedish and Belfry Open this season and defeated Jesus Noguera and finally Allan Edwards to secure a debut in the tournament.

Justin Hood and Scott Williams have also secured their debuts with both picking up wins over the likes of Jeff Smith, Craig Venman; for the latter Wes Newton and Andrew Kateley.

In the Ladies, it was Corrine Hammond and Kirsty Hutchinson. Both players were among the favourites coming into the Qualifier and the former defeated Kasumi Sato and Rhian Griffiths en route to claiming her place.

Hutchinson only dropped one leg in her five games in qualification. A three time ranking event winner, she completed it with a whitewash win over Stefanie Luck.
