Gary Anderson has done the double in Barnsley winning Players Championship 4 in Barnsley after his triumph yesterday at the 3rd event of the same series. He defeated Jeffrey de Zwaan 6-2 to complete this to continue his red-hot form.

This red hot form shows as he has now gone 22 matches unbeaten with 3 consecutive titles including the UK Open. In the absence of Michael van Gerwen, Anderson has done what the World Number One usually does and that is smash through the field.

For de Zwaan it is a step forward as he has reached yet another Pro-Tour final after having to almost start his PDC career from scratch when he went to Q-School. He has shown his form though and that he is a seriously dangerous player.

It is Anderson though who takes home the £10,000 prize to make it £90,000 pounds over the last few weeks. He goes onto the Premier League on Thursday hoping to continue his streak.
