Beau Greaves has marked her 16th birthday in style with a brilliant 2-1 win over Aileen de Graaf to reach the semi-finals of the BDO Ladies World Championship on debut.

Greaves averaged 86 as she continues to show how good she is ahead of a tilt at Q-School in around a weeks’ time now she has reached the age limit to play in Wigan.

She will be focused now though on a semi-final against either Anastasia Dobromyslova or Mikuru Suzuki who face off later tonight.

‘Beau n Arrow’ made a brilliant start to proceedings whitewashing De Graaf in set one as she looked excellent in the early going.

De Graaf though wasn’t done though and in the next set with Greaves sat on 58 and ready to finish, the former took out out 126 to keep her hopes alive but those hopes were diminished as Greaves whitewashed the next set 3-0 to claim the victory.
