Martijn Kleermaker and Aileen de Graaf claimed the first BDO titles of the weekend in the form of the Luxembourg Open today (Saturday) in the first of two events.
The second one is the BDO Luxembourg Masters which takes place on Sunday. Kleermaker saw off the in-form Leighton Bennett in a 6-2 victory with a brilliant 99.51 average. He had a tough route defeating the likes of Martin Phillips, Owen Roelofs; as well as Wayne Warren and Cody Harris en route to the title.
The Dutchman claimed his fourth BDO title of the season to continue his brilliant form to start the year. Aileen de Graaf edged past Laura Turner in the ladies final.
De Graaf continues her good form also with a third title of the season defeating Turner in a 6-2 win. She similarly had a tough route seeing off Irina Armstrong, Anca Ziljstra and Jo Clements on her way to the title.
