16-year-old Littler retains title and wins fourth season of MODUS Super Series

Luke Littler has become the big winner of the fourth season of the MODUS Super Series. 'The Nuke,' who also won the third season in May, triumphed in the final against veteran Colin Osborne.

For the previous twelve weeks, dozens of players competed for a spot in the final week of the MODUS Super Series 4. The twelve weekly winners received invitations to do so and competed this week for the top prize of £20,000.

The top six players from Monday through Friday's pool matches were allowed to compete on Saturday in the final day, which consisted of two groups. The 16-year-old Littler managed to win both of his pool matches by defeating Colin Osborne (4-0) and Reece Robinson (4-2). Osborne advanced to the semifinals as number two by winning 4-0 over Robinson.

In the other pool there were two Dutchmen. Berry van Peer won the Dutch confrontation against Jeroen Mioch 4-1, but Van Peer went down 4-1 against Steve West. Mioch lost 4-0 to West in the last group match, allowing the Englishman to advance to the last four together with Van Peer.

Osborne advanced in the first semifinal with a 4-3 win against West. Van Peer came up short against Littler, who reached the final with a 4-2 win. Littler also won the final 4-2.
