Eidams picks up group win in Modus Super Series: "I was struggling but it's a mental game"

René Eidams has crowned himself group winner in Group A of the tenth week of play in the Modus Super Series.

Eidams was the best in a group that also included Steve Brown, Tom Becker, Jim Mayer, Davie Kirwan and Jon Worsley. "The first day was good but on that second day I missed so many doubles. On the third day, the first two games were so bad. I was struggling but it's a mental game so I kept going and was successful which is good." Eidams said.

The 34-year-old German may compete next Saturday on the final night of the tenth week of play in the Modus Super Series. "I'm happy for two days off, I can chill. I think I'll do one hour a day on the practice board and then the rest I'll chill."
