Fallon Sherrock averages 112.73 in staggering performance in MODUS Super Series Women's Week

Whilst the first five events of the Challenge Tour is played out this weekend, Fallon Sherrock has opted to skip them in favour of the competing in Women's Week at the MODUS Super Series. She backed this decision up after averaging an astonishing 112.73 in her 3-0 victory over Lorraine Winstantley.

'The Queen of the Palace' was at her very best in her final match of group B. She began proceedings with a 124 checkout for a 12-darter before breaking on double eight, taking full command of the match. Another ton+ finish was taken out to wrap up affairs in lightning quick time. She pinned double 16 for a 104 checkout.

This was the performance of the week, and a true showing of what Sherrock can do on the oche, something we do not see as often as we used to. Once a regular on the PDC, Sherrock was the first woman darter to win a match at the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship, clinching glory against Ted Evetts before taking down Mensur Suljovic to return after Christmas. She is also a former Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finalist.

She has not been able to keep up these high standards as she attempts to get herself onto the PDC Tour. Numerous failed visits at Q-School have prevented this dream from becoming reality, with the latest opportunity being wasted as she failed to win a single match.

She will be a firm presence on the Women's Series, as well as the Challenge Tour which has begun proceedings for 2026. The first events have been played without her, as Sherrock proves her worth on the MODUS Super Series.

Her second place finish in Group B behind the reigning women's World Matchplay champion Lisa Ashton is enough to qualify her for finals night. There, she will begin with a contest against Dutchwoman Priscilla Steenbergen before taking on Rhian O'Sullivan.
